NYE 2012 - Berlin
From 12/28/2012 to 1/5/2013
New Year's Eve 2012 was spent in Berlin, Germany. Spent lots of time visiting museums, memorials, and beer gardens. Even was able to spend a day in Potsdam.
A few must-see sights if you plan on visiting:
- Brandenburg Gate
- Check Point Charlie
- DDR Museum
- Remaining fragments of the Berlin Wall
Destinations:
Berlin, Germany. What a city! Lots of history, lots of great food, and lots of good beer. What more could you ask for?
Postdam, Germany: Come for the palaces, stay for the atmosphere.
Germany is beer country! We sampled many of the best local brews while we were out and about.
